We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Complex Care Domiciliary Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to clients in their own homes. You will play a vital role in supporting patients with complex health needs, ensuring clinical excellence and promoting independence and dignity wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in line with NMC standards.
Provide skilled interventions for clients with complex care needs including:
Stoma management
PEG / NG feeding
Tracheostomy care and ventilation support
IV therapy
Seizure management
Work in collaboration with the wider MDT (multidisciplinary team) such as GPs, social works, Speech and Language Therapists and OT.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, escalating concerns to head office.
Support clients with personal care, companionship and meeting nutrition needs.
Recording accurate nursing notes ensuring accuracy and up to date.
Build strong professional relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote holistic, patient-centred care.
Essential Skills & Experience
Current NMC registration (Registered Nurse - Adult) with no restrictions.
Proven experience in complex care within a hospital or community setting.
Nursing skills in:
Stoma management
Enteral feeding (PEG / NG)
Tracheostomy care and ventilation
IV therapy administration
Seizure management
Wound Management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
Strong commitment to safeguarding and patient dignity.
Desirable Skills
Willingness to travel in and around North London
Full UK Driver license
Male and/or female urinary catheterisation insertion
Experience in teaching and mentoring care staff.
Palliative care experience.
