Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care and a passion for improving the quality of life for those in our care. As a Care Team Leader, you will supervise a team of caregivers, ensuring that all care plans are followed and that the highest standards of care are maintained within the care home.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of care. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of each resident. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to care. Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans as necessary. Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents through engaging activities and personalised care. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies within the care home. Provide training and mentorship to new staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with residents, families, and colleagues. Proficient IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation related to resident care. Experience in supervising staff within a senior care environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual needs. A genuine passion for senior care and enhancing the lives of those we serve.
