Support Worker - Complex Care (Southport)

16.33/hour | 36 hrs/week | 1:1 Care | Weekend on/off

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate healthcare Assistant to join a small, specialist team providing bespoke 1-2-1 support for a young adult with complex health needs.

About the Role

Delivering 1-2-1 care to a young adult with a brain injury who requires specialist support.

Providing personal, clinical, and emotional care following detailed care plans.

Supporting daily routines, therapies, and meaningful activities at home and in the community.

Assisting with mobility and transfers using specialist equipment (overhead tracking hoists, wheelchair, etc.).

Administering medication safely and accurately.

Working closely with the team, management, and wider professional team to ensure the highest standards of care.

Hours & Rota

36 hours per week

Days only - no night shifts

Fixed rota pattern: weekend on / weekend off

16.33 per hour

Paid induction and shadowing shifts

About You

Previous care experience (complex care, brain injury, or physical disability) desirable.

Compassionate, patient, and professional with a genuine commitment to person-centred care.

Confident in following detailed care plans and clinical protocols.

Reliable team player with strong communication skills.

Flexible approach to shifts within the fixed rota.

Training & Development

Comprehensive induction and shadowing shifts.

Specialist clinical training delivered privately

Ongoing CPD opportunities with the support of an experienced Management Team.

Essential Requirements

Over 21 years of age (insurance requirement for use of specialist vehicle).

Full UK driving licence.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo).

Right to work in the UK.
