One-to-One Support Worker - Complex Care

Josh's Care Company is hiring!

The Role: Complex Care Support Worker.

Hourly Rate: 13.50 per hour.

Location:

4 miles South of Chesterfield.

Contract Type

:

Permanent with immediate start available. We offer the below contracts:

Full time-36 hours per week- days and nights.

DBS: Preferred

Driver: Required

Right to Work:

About the role:

We are looking for someone to join an established team providing one-to-one support for a gentleman with a neurological condition. Our client loves to be surrounded by people who have a good sense of humour, plenty of initiative and motivation to provide interactive and engaging support, ongoing physiotherapy assistance, and to work within his robust daily routine. You will work one-to-one with our client, helping him maintain his independence and quality of life. He really values carers who have a cheerful, pleasant personality, a love of all kinds of music, and a genuine sense of humour. Our client appreciates people who take a real interest in him and are willing to learn his unique method of communication - once mastered, it allows for meaningful two-way conversations.
Due to his complex needs, which primarily affect his physical mobility, experience in complex care is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right person with the right attitude. There are additional complex care needs, which will be discussed in full during a meet and greet session to ensure you feel confident and prepared.
