The Role: Complex Care Support Worker

Hourly Rate:

13.50 per hour

Location:

S43, Clowne

Contract Type:

Permanent

Hours:

36 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

Day shifts: 8am - 8pm

Night shifts: 8pm - 8am

DBS: DBS preferred.

Driver with access to a vehicle: Preferred but not essential.

Right to Work:

It's important to note that we recruit with a person-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one of our packages based in a single location.

About the Young Man - Based in Clowne

You'll be supporting a vibrant young man who lives with Autism and Epilepsy. He lives at home with his family and requires round-the-clock care. Support needs include personal care, moving and handling, and help with learning difficulties. Care is always provided by a dedicated team of two skilled carers on site.

Full support is required with

Personal care Moving and handling Assistance with learning difficulties Managing and responding to seizures

Training

At Josh's Care Company, we are dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become confident and compliant in all areas of specialised care. You will be offered a full induction and comprehensive training, including online and practical sessions, to ensure you have the support, skills, and tools you need to deliver quality care to our service users.

Reliability and punctuality - someone who can be counted on and is always ready to help. A proactive and organised approach - thinking ahead and staying on top of things makes a big difference. A great sense of humour - laughter and fun are part of daily life here. Previous care experience, especially with physical or learning support needs. Knowledge or understanding of Autism, Epilepsy or Complex Care (preferred, but not essential). Flexible availability to cover days, waking nights, and alternate weekends. A current DBS if possible (paper or update service). A driving licence (preferred).
