We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and fun-loving

Female Support Worker

to care for an 8-year-old boy with Cerebral Palsy in his home in

Billericay, Essex

.

Permanent and Casual positions available.

Working Hours

Term Time (Monday to Friday):

32.5 hours per week

Split shifts:

06:45am - 08:15am (before school) 15:30 - 20:30 (after school)

School Holidays:

32.5 hours per week Worked over 2 or more days Hours scheduled in advance in agreement with the team
There will be

overtime opportunities

, including weekend work.

Part-time workers considered.

Pay Rates:

18.50 per hour (Weekdays) 19.50 per hour (Weekends)

About the Child

He is 8 years old and lives at home with Mum, Dad, and his two younger sisters. He is engaging, sociable, and happy.

He has Cerebral Palsy, which affects his cognitive and physical abilities, including his vision. He is a wheelchair user but can stand and walk a few steps with his physiotherapist.

He attends school during the week and follows a varied curriculum.

Your Role Will Include

Providing personal care (e.g. toileting, changing clothes) Supporting therapy and mobility routines Assisting with play, learning activities, and interaction Encouraging independence and confidence Working closely with parents and therapists

About You

Experience working with children (care, education, or voluntary) Physically fit and enjoys play-based interaction

Full UK driving licence required

Based locally to Billericay or within easy travelling distance
Full training will be provided for all aspects of his care.
