The Role: Complex Care Support Worker.

Hourly Rate: 14.00 per hour.

Location:

LN2, Lincoln

Shift Pattern:

Term Time:

Monday to Friday - 8:00am until 3:30pm

Saturday to Sunday - 8:30am until 1:30pm

Monday to Sunday - 3:30pm until 8:30pm

None Term Time:

Monday to Friday - 8:00am until 3:30pm

Saturday to Sunday - 8:30am until 1:30pm

Monday to Sunday - 3:30pm until 8:30pm

Contract Type:

25-hour contract

30-hour contract

35-hour contract

0-hour contract

DBS:

DBS preferred.

Driver with access to a vehicle:

Required

Our team of skilled professionals offers around-the-clock specialised care for people with spinal cord injuries and other complex needs, and we are now looking for like-minded professionals to join us in providing top-quality care that truly makes a difference. It's important to note that we recruit with a person-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one of our packages based in a single location. However, there is also the potential to work across various packages within the area.

The Person You Will Support:

You will support a young adult with complex medical and neurological needs.

Their severe epilepsy requires calm monitoring during and after seizures - experience in this is required.

Care tasks include PEG/gastrostomy support, tracheostomy care and ventilation/CPAP assistance.

They love relaxing with their favourite TV shows and iPad and enjoy spending time with their dolls and simple craft activities.

Gentle encouragement and positive engagement help them thrive without overwhelming them.

Training:

At Josh's Care Company, we are dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become compliant in all areas of specialised care, from tracheostomy and ventilator management to postural and respiratory care, as well as PEG feeding. Rest assured that you will be in the capable hands of our skilled and experienced nursing team at Josh's Care Company. Our nurses have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of nursing and care which will ensure that you receive the highest standard of training and support possible.
We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience, with knowledge of complex care being an added advantage. A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential attributes for this role, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our people's quality of life.
