We are recruiting an experienced

Tracheostomy Trained Healthcare Assistant

to join our Complex Care division. You will be supporting clients in their own homes with complex clinical needs, ensuring safe, high-quality care at all times.

This role is ideal for a confident HCA with recent tracheostomy experience who is looking to work closely with clients in a one-to-one setting

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 care for clients with tracheostomies Perform tracheostomy care including suctioning, stoma care, inner cannula changes (if within competence) Monitor airway patency and escalate concerns promptly Support with PEG/NG feeds if required (training provided) Assist with mobility, personal care, and daily living tasks Maintain accurate care notes and documentation Work closely with the clinical team to ensure safe practice Promote dignity, independence, and person-centred care

What We're Looking For

Tracheostomy trained

with recent hands-on experience Confident in airway management and emergency response Experience working in complex care, ICU, HDU, community or similar Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Compassionate, reliable and professional approach

Requirements

Right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship) Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Up-to-date mandatory training Proof of recent tracheostomy competency (essential) Ideally experience with ventilators (not essential - training available) At least 1 Year experience working as a HCA in the UK
