The Compliance & Asset Data Manager leads statutory and technical compliance across the estate and owns the end-to-end asset management framework--from asset register integrity

and PPM strategy to assurance reporting--ensuring the estate is safe, legal, and data-driven, and in accordance with the contract requirements. The role governs alignment to SFG20,

manufacturer guidance, lifecycle principles; drives continuous improvement, and provides authoritative guidance and support to site leadership and engineering teams


The individual will ensure a one team culture is developed and ensure ISS values and behaviours are always demonstrated both internal to ISS and with the client interfaces.

The individual will work in close collaboration with the site management teams and central support functions. Excellent communication and a one team ethos is essential.

Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction, supporting on account leadership in the management of service delivery and where required driving local initiatives as well as ensuring consistency in processes, systems and reporting

Ensuring the efficient and consistent operation of all facility Engineering activities to meet contractual obligations and follow quality assured processes.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage the delivery of asset management activities as per contracts requirements such as asset register, uploading asset information that can be transferred onto the CAFM system and maintenance plans. Enhancing the Asset Management service offerings to add value to client's' assets. Oversight that the maintenance procedures are in line with
manufacturer's specifications or SFG20
Own the compliance calendar and evidence trail for all statutory & mandatory activities (e.g., LOLER, PUWER, Fire & Life Safety, Water Hygiene, Gas Safety, Electrical). Ensure 100% adherence and timely close-out of defects. Lead internal assurance audits; produce monthly/quarterly compliance dashboards (KPIs, risks, follow-up actions). Set PPM strategies aligned to SFG20/OEM guidance and risk profiles, monitor schedule compliance and optimise frequencies by performance/condition. Update Asset Condition and Lifecycle Reports in line with the contract requirement. Ensure the Asset Database is kept fully up to date in the CAFM; all records related to maintenance are recorded and available to the Employer, the configuration of the system is not changed without the change control process being adhered. Implement safe systems of work and Duty Holder / Appointed Engineers permit frameworks; Ensuring all the AP, RP and CP processes are adhered to in accordance with either the ISS Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) or the URW SSoW Verify competency/accreditation and "license to operate" for technical personnel and supplier partners.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications


HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering/Building Services (or equivalent) with strong understanding of asset management principles and statutory frameworks. Proven experience in CAFM and data governance; advanced Excel/Power BI for dashboards and audit evidence. Working knowledge of SFG20, OEM guidance, and UK regulations for technical compliance. Demonstrable track record in leading compliance audits, PPM optimisation, and stakeholder engagement at account/portfolio scale. Proven self-starter that consistently delivers to outcome specifications Proven experience of operating in a similar role and environment.
