Established for over 20 years, Marlowe Smoke Control are specialists in the supply, installation and maintenance of Smoke Ventilation Systems UK Wide. We are looking for a Compliance and Estimator Manager to work at our sites as a key member of th team.

We are looking for a Compliance and Estimator to work with our Clients as a key member of our Team.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the preparation of Cost estimates for materials, labour, and subcontractor services. Ensure accuracy, compliance of estimates. Ordering correct equipment for best installation and options for the client. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand scope of works and requirements. Identify and assess potential risks associated with project estimates. Implement best practices. Prepare detailed estimate reports for internal and client review. Build relationships with key clients and subcontractors.

Requirements



+ Excellent interpersonal skills + Passion and enthusiasm for the company
+ Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask
+ Self-motivated and ambitious
+ Understanding or experience of electrical control systems
+ Able to work as part of an experienced team of engineers
+ Experience of software-based control systems, and an ability to write and update system software (or willing to work towards achieving this)
+ An ability to physically check, maintain, and diagnose mechanical & electrical systems and undertake remedial work when required
+ Understanding of electrical circuits within control panels
+ An ability to problem solve, think outside of the box, and provide thorough solutions
+ Knowledge of current regs and standards
+ Willing to travel when necessary
+ Always aims to deliver great customer service, but you are not afraid to say 'No' when needed.
+ Be passionate about buildings and like working with people
+ You will have a methodical and practical attitude and good attention to detail
+ Candidates will be required to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
