Compliance and Technical Manager - PFP and Fire Doors



Key roles:



Collaborative Technical Support:

Be the first point of contact for all internal technical queries, fostering a culture of approachability, accuracy, and support across departments--from clients, surveyors and supervisors to estimating and site teams.

Surveying & Consultancy Oversight:

Champion specialist software bolster systems, leading bespoke work flows to optimise data capture. Ensure all technical outputs--survey reports, specifications, and consultancy advice--are consistently accurate, compliant, and of the highest quality.

Compliance Leadership:

Maintain and audit all industry accreditations (including IFC, CHAS, ISO standards), ensuring adherence to evolving regulations, test data, and legislative changes.

Quality Assurance:

Oversee quality across all live and completed sites, including regular site audits, certification sign-offs and compliance inspections.

Training & Development:

Deliver internal training across survey, site, and operational teams to ensure everyone remains up to date on product specifications, regulation changes, technical processes, and compliance pathways.

Product & Installation Validation:

Ensure selected materials and systems are correctly specified and compatible across surveys, installations, and project delivery--escalating risks and offering solutions where needed.

Client & Supplier Engagement:

Liaise directly with clients and supply chain partners to provide technical guidance, resolve issues, and communicate new compliance developments.

Our ideal Candidate:



Proven expertise in Passive Fire Protection and Fire Doors, with a deep understanding of relevant legislation and technical compliance frameworks. Hands-on experience managing quality assurance across multiple concurrent projects. Familiarity with IFC/BM Trada certification standards and ISOs. A confident communicator, able to explain technical content clearly to both operational teams and external stakeholders. Organised, diligent, and able to lead on both strategic planning and detail-oriented quality control. An approachable and proactive leader who supports and uplifts colleagues across all departments. A confident and professional communicator, comfortable engaging with senior client stakeholders and internal teams alike.
