Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for fire safety and compliance and customer engagement?





We're looking for a

Compliance Inspector

to join our

Building Safety team

, ensuring our properties are fully compliant with landlord health and safety legislation and statutory duties. This is a hands-on, role with opportunities to make a real impact on building safety and customer wellbeing.



This is a varied and dynamic opportunity where you'll travel locally to carry out safety inspections of fire doors and detection equipment. You'll support the team with other compliance checks, log repairs, provide on-site technical expertise, and assist with accident and insurance investigations, as well as fire risk actions. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be liaising with customers, explaining compliance issues clearly and professionally.


What we're looking for:




Experience in compliance inspections, reporting findings, and working to deadlines. Reliable, proactive, and quick to learn new concepts. Strong communication, accuracy, and attention to detail. Able to work independently and electronically report information. Professional, approachable, and solution focused. Organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities. Experience in Housing Associations, Asset Management, or Building Safety (desirable). Technical knowledge of construction and fire safety (desirable).

Important Requirements:




Ability to climb ladders and access confined spaces. Full UK driving license and able to travel regularly to Group offices and properties across South Birmingham and Oxfordshire areas
