Compliance Inspector - LOLER & PUWER

Location:

UK (Hybrid)

Salary:

38,000 - 42,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Compliance Inspector to join our growing team, covering LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) inspections across the UK. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients' equipment is safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct statutory inspections of lifting and work equipment in line with LOLER and PUWER requirements. Produce clear, accurate inspection reports and communicate findings to clients. Advise on compliance, safety improvements, and remedial actions. Liaise with engineering and site teams to plan and deliver inspections efficiently. Travel to client sites nationwide.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar inspection or engineering role. In-depth knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations. Strong report writing and communication skills. Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. LEEA). Experience with statutory inspections in industrial, construction, or manufacturing settings. Additional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
