Beechwood Trees and Landscapes Ltd is a well-established, Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor based in Coventry, serving the Midlands region.

With over 25 years of industry experience and a proven record of sustainable growth, we are now seeking an

experienced and proactive Compliance Manager

to join our leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking, solutions-driven professional to become part of one of the most progressive arboricultural and landscape contracting companies in the industry.

The Role:



As our

Compliance Manager

, you will lead and manage all aspects of

Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Assurance (SHEQ)

across the business.

You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of compliance across operations, developing internal processes, and fostering a positive safety culture.

You will:

Manage SHEQ systems and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations. Support our ISO and quality accreditation processes. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and investigations. Deliver training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings to all staff levels. Oversee fleet compliance, office risk management, HR support tasks, and ad-hoc projects such as our carbon neutral initiative. Assist with tender documentation and audit preparation. Monitor and report on KPIs such as training matrix, risk assessments, incident follow-ups, and more.

About You:



To be considered for this role, you will need:

Minimum 5 years' experience

in the arboriculture or landscaping industry.

NEBOSH or IOSH qualification

(essential). Demonstrable experience in audit and compliance -

ISO 9001 internal auditor training

preferred. Relevant arboricultural/horticultural qualifications. Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation and best practice. Excellent people skills - able to influence, coach, and support across teams. Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
Goals for This Role Include:

100% completion of monthly inspections with reports to management. Response to all incidents and near-misses within 48 hours. Monthly updates to skills matrix ensuring qualifications align with operational roles. Monthly team safety audits with actions resolved within 24 hours. Weekly delivery of safety briefings and toolbox talks across all teams.
