We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance our compliance framework within the organisation. The ideal candidate will ensure that all operations adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies, within the Rail Sector. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our compliance management processes and will involve conducting internal audits, regulatory reporting, and managing compliance risks effectively.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with established policies and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
Monitor changes in legislation affecting the banking sector and update compliance practices accordingly.
Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance issues, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical behaviour.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure comprehensive compliance management across all operations.
Investigate compliance breaches or concerns, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Experience
Proven experience in a compliance management role, within Rail.
Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and internal audit processes.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to communicate complex compliance issues clearly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
