Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position involves overseeing compliance management, conducting internal audits, and managing regulatory reporting processes within the Rail Sector. The Compliance Manager will work closely with various departments to foster a culture of compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with established policies and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and on time, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations. Provide guidance and support to staff on compliance-related issues, promoting awareness of compliance obligations across the organisation. Monitor changes in legislation and regulations that may impact the organisation's operations, advising on necessary adjustments. Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication regarding compliance matters and risk management strategies. Assist in training employees on compliance protocols and best practices to enhance overall organisational compliance culture.

Experience

Proven experience in compliance management within the Rail sector is essential. Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and internal audit processes. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them effectively within the organisation. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey compliance concepts clearly to diverse audiences. A background in accounting or finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
