Key Responsibilities



Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of clinical compliance policies and programs, aligning with UK and EU regulations for medical and aesthetic practices. Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for clinical services, ensuring safe, ethical, and legally compliant treatments. Monitor evolving legislation and guidelines in healthcare, aesthetic medicine, data protection (e.g. UK GDPR, CQC, MHRA best practices), ensuring our clinic remains fully compliant. Conduct regular internal audits covering treatment protocols, documentation, patient consent, billing, and privacy practices, steering corrective actions when issues arise. Oversee compliance training programs for clinical and administrative staff, on topics such as consent procedures, data protection, incident reporting, and treatment safety. Serve as the internal point of contact during regulatory inspections and external audits; liaise with relevant regulatory bodies when necessary. Investigate any compliance incidents, such as patient safety concerns or breaches, record incidents confidentially, and coordinate corrective action plans. Prepare tailored compliance reports and present findings to clinic leadership, highlighting trends, risk areas, and suggested improvements. Collaborate across departments (medical, HR, IT, legal, finance) to integrate compliance with clinical operations and patient care.

Requirements & Qualifications



Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) plus license to practice.o Masters in Facial Aesthetic or Aesthetic Medicine Experience: At least 3-5 years in a medical or clinical setting, with hands-on responsibility in compliance, governance, or clinical administration. Demonstrated leadership or oversight of compliance efforts is highly desirable. Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare regulations in the UK such as CQC standards, UK GDPR (including Data Protection Impact Assessments), Freedom of Information (FOI), and patient safety requirements. o Technical & Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational capabilities. o Excellent communication, able to translate complex laws/regulations into clear guidance for clinicians and staff. Proven ability to lead training, investigations, audits, and corrective actions. Professional Certifications (Preferred): Healthcare compliance certification (e.g., Certified in Healthcare Compliance--CHC or equivalents) or related. Personal Integrity: Strong ethical principles, ability to maintain confidentiality, and a proactive commitment to compliance and patient safety.

Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
