About the Role
Key responsibilities
Maintain the QMS to ensure we adhere to ISO standard and our business objectives
Take part in external audits conducted by certification bodies
Take part in internal audits to assess compliance, identify weakness and driver improvements within the QMS.
Support staff with quality policy, procedures and objectives to ensure company-wide compliance and awareness.
Maintain a non conformance & complaints log, assist in investigations and implement effective corrective actions.
Monitor & report on key quality performance indicators to management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
Maintain personnel training records.
Manage procedures for changes to the approved product, paperwork or production process.
Issue certificates of conformity for each vehicle produced that matches the type approval declaring that it complies with the approved specification.
Maintain control plans to demonstrate compliance with legislation.
General office duties to provide holiday cover for production administrator
Key Skills
Ability to communicate, collaborate and lead initiatives across all levels of the organisation.
In depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and GB Type approval.
Ability to analyse quality data, identify trends and present information clearly to management.
Proficient in root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.
Organisational and documentation skills to manage quality system requirements.
Requirements
Previous experience in quality assurance or management
A positive professional attitude and willingness to learn
