: The Compliance Manager will ensure that the site operates in a fully compliant and legal manner. Ensuring all processes and practices comply with all relevant H&S and Environmental legislation and ensuring our Business Management System is a framework for all operations.
Ensuring adherence to Company site licenses conditions and company policies to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Ensuring the Company Duty of Care requirements are satisfied with all incoming and outgoing wastes.
Ensure that suitable, relevant, and appropriate risk assessments, working procedures and safe systems of work are in place and updated timely for all operations.
Organising internal and external testing programme
Working with the Site Manager to Identify and organise the company training needs.
To lead and motivate employees with H&S focused campaigns and conduct staff engagement to ensure a best practice approach is embedded across the organization.
Ensure that all accident, incidents, and near misses are fully investigated and that all lessons learnt from investigations, are understood and changes implemented
Weekly basis, liaise with Site Manager, processing and maintenance teams to discuss Corrective Actions Reports (CAR's), ensuring accurate recording and review of servicing of plant and machinery is arranged and preventative maintenance and repairs are scheduled.
Ensure the Business Management system is reflective of all business activities and is reviewed and monitored on an ongoing basis.
Drive the management of health, safety and compliance monitoring systems throughout the workplace
Manage and maintain all company accreditations such as ISO, SMAS and CHAS
Managing the carbon reduction plan for the company.
Problem- solving with a proactive and can do approach
Requirements
Min 2 years experience in similar role in a related field
NEBOSH or IEMA Diploma
Member of IOSH
WAMITAB COTC 4 - advantageous
Experience with ISO accreditation preferred.
