What's the opportunity?



This is a 6-month fixed-term contract where you will design, develop, and maintain a compliance risk assessment tool to drive the Bank's annual Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP). You will prepare and present the CMP and quarterly updates, deliver scheduled reviews, escalate material issues, and ensure robust closure of actions.

How You Will Make an Impact



Design and maintain a compliance risk assessment tool for the annual CMP Prepare and present the annual CMP and quarterly progress updates Deliver scheduled reviews, draft reports, and agree actions Escalate material issues to the Compliance Director in a timely manner Ensure robust closure of CMP actions with supporting evidence

What You Will Bring



Experience managing or holding a similar position in a high-performance Compliance function, ideally within retail banking In-depth regulatory knowledge across core compliance topics (Consumer Duty, SYSC, DISP, BCOBS, etc.) extensive experience in a 2LOD Compliance function, ideally within retail banking Broad knowledge of FCA and PRA regulatory frameworks Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to influence at all levels
