We're looking for a passionate and driven
Compliance Monitoring Officer
to join our dynamic Risk and Compliance Team at Connells Group.
You will be working in Kent, Surrey, Sussex and South London.
About the Role
As a Compliance Monitoring Officer, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our operations meet regulatory standards. You'll conduct both remote and in-person risk assessments across our branch network, providing expert insight and challenge to ensure our policies and procedures align with legislative requirements.
This is a field-based role with regular travel, so flexibility is key. To support you, we'll provide a company car, laptop, and mobile phone--everything you need to succeed.

Salary - 30,000
Starting with 25 days holiday with additional for length of service, plus a day off for your birthday

What you'll need to deliver as a Compliance Monitoring Officer:
Carry out regulatory inspections to branches across the entire Connells Group
Prepare regular, timely, relevant and concise reporting on the findings for management
Keep abreast of best practice and external developments in legislation and monitoring and ensure that learning is applied
Identify and escalate at the earliest opportunity any significant regulatory issues to the line manager in a clear and accurate manner
What you'll have as a Compliance Monitoring Officer:
Relevant Estate Agency experience
Sound understanding of CPRs and TPOS requirements
Excellent knowledge of current regulatory environment, relevant regulations and industry best practice in relation to compliance monitoring tools and techniques
A team player, with the ability to work unsupervised
Ability to build strong and effective working relationships with Stakeholders
Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality written work and reporting
Ability to assess the impact and relevance of issues and articulate them in a clear and precise manner whilst ensuring a commercial approach is maintained
Articulate, confident communicator and presenter
