Job summary
Reporting to the UK Compliance Monitoring Manager, the main purpose is to assist in all Compliance related tasks, including audit planning, execution and follow up actions for the UK AOC. You will assist with the execution of the UK AOC annual audit schedule, which includes Flight Operations, Ground Operations and flight crew training. Travel to NHV bases and supplier sites will be required.
The Compliance Officer co-operates closely with all organisational subdivisions of NHV and their main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Planning and conducting internal and external audits and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, requirements, standards and procedures
Follow up on audit findings to ensure satisfactory closure
Participate in external audits from customers and the authorities as required
Assists on the implementation of group policies and monitors adherence
Assists the Safety and Compliance Managers in developing group policies and make suggestions for improvement
Monitoring compliance legislation and company procedures throughout all UK sites via auditing and regular inspections and, ensuring that all non-conformances and observations are actioned and closed out within the allocated timeframe, by liaising with respective UK responsible managers
Assisting with global safety campaigns and initiatives
Monitoring and ensuring compliance to ISO 9001 - Quality Management Systems
Administration of the Safety and Compliance Management Systems
Leading and participating in investigations
Liaising with stakeholders/clients compliance related topics and reviewing quarterly performance statistics. Sharing and discussing root causes, lessons learned and corrective actions from audits, investigations and inspections
Business development - Supporting tender preparations and contract reviews regarding QHSE requirements
Engaging in emergency response activities including training exercises
Generating information notices, bulletins and newsletters, and communicating them across all areas of the UK business.
Document control - Reviewing and maintaining Compliance and regulatory related documentation.
Participating in flight and ground operation MOCs to ensure impact across the organisation is fully identified and meets regulatory requirements
To coordinate with the Ground Ops Duty Holder(s) on matters of Dangerous Goods and security
Assisting in the development of the safety culture in line with the company's policies, values and missions
Skills & experience
ICT literate (specific aviation software & MS Office)
Languages: English (professional level)
Ability to follow company procedures and processes (operational, quality, safety ...)
Proven Compliance experience - Rotary - Desirable
Experienced auditor - Rotary - Desirable
ISO9001:2015 - Desirable
Dangerous goods and SeMs Knowledge - Desirable
Excellent communication and organization skills
Health and Safety knowledge
Environmental experience desirable
Knowledge/understanding of regulatory environments - Highly desirable
