We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation adheres to regulatory standards and internal policies. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying compliance issues and implementing effective solutions.
Duties
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programmes.
Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, ensuring that the organisation remains compliant.
Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of compliance within the organisation.
Investigate compliance breaches or concerns, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
Prepare reports for senior management detailing compliance status, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with compliance objectives and quality assurance standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in a compliance role or similar position, preferably within a regulated industry.
Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and quality assurance practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and data.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
