Who You Are:

As a team player, you navigate cross-functional teams and work well with team members in other business units and departments toward a common goal.



What You'll Do:



You will assist the SVP, European Counsel in charge of EMEA, with compliance and data protection topics.



Responsibilities:



Monitor and research on EMEA-specific regulations for existing and new products and services. Maintain, review, and update the data protection documentation and policies for EMEA region (e.g., data protection impact assessments, transfer impact assessments, etc.) Contribute to compliance initiatives and programs and work cross-functionality with other departments (e.g., Product, Security, Marketing) Support for preparation of the audits with regulatory bodies and customers Support EMEA Compliance and Business partners for customers' questions on compliance and data protection. Drafting newsletters, blogs on data protection and compliance topics; Review training materials for employees


What You Need to be Successful:

5+ years in compliance, risk management, or legal roles. Strong understanding of compliance regulations and data protection laws and practices in Europe and United Kingdom. Interest in other regions like Africa / Middle East Bachelor's / Master's degree in Law Privacy certification Very good oral and written English communication Project and Management skills Attention to detail Analytical and Logical Reasoning with Problem-Solving skills Adept with technology research tools Keen aptitude for the law and ability to undertake legal review Commercial awareness
