Nowadays, we're on the hunt for a dynamic Compliance Officer!

Position Overview:

As a Compliance Officer at Casumo, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding our operations by ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. You'll support licence management, regulatory filings, audits, and policy updates, while guiding cross-functional teams through regulatory change. With a strong grasp of compliance frameworks - particularly in AML, RG, and marketing laws - you'll help maintain the integrity of our business and foster a culture of proactive compliance. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for navigating the regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities:

Champion compliance across our operational licences, supporting licence renewals and new applications with precision. Own the timely completion of regulatory filings, submissions, and annual audits - ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. Keep our internal policies sharp, current, and aligned with ever-evolving regulatory requirements. Act as a trusted advisor, providing clear guidance on regulatory interpretations and obligations across the business. Help bring new regulatory requirements to life - working cross-functionally to implement changes seamlessly. Maintain and update the regulatory calendar, tracking deadlines, renewals, and key compliance activities across jurisdictions. Ensure policies and procedures are crystal clear and accessible for all Operational Teams. Monitor industry changes and enforcement actions - keeping Casumo ahead of the curve with proactive insights and weekly updates. Conduct internal audits and ensure equal interpretation of regulatory requirements across teams. Keep our compliance documentation organised, accessible, and version-controlled at all times. Manage licence-related invoices in our Compliance Budget Tracker and ensure accurate, on-time fee submissions. Maintain up-to-date registers of key personnel and oversee timely submissions of PML applications. Foster strong cross-functional relationships and promote a culture of continuous compliance improvement.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in a compliance role and a proven track record of working with regulatory bodies - UKGC, DGOJ, SGA would be advantageous. Solid understanding of AML and RG concepts and other compliance-related regulations, including local marketing laws Has the ability to understand and interpret legislation vis a vis the licensed business and the impact it may have on the industry Fluency in English is a must; proficiency in other relevant languages is desired. Organised, proactive, and a natural problem solver with an eye for detail and a collaborative spirit.
