The Role



Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Company's Compliance policy and accreditations. The position ensures that the Company and its Contractors comply with the requirements of legislation by monitoring and implementing compliance and SHEQ functions, including individual competencies and training, and industry accreditations such as ISO and LRQA NERS/GIRS/WIRS.

Key Responsibilities



Manage the application and maintenance of all required Industry accreditations Management of the employee & relevant sub-contractor competency matrix Manage and maintain the supplier and sub-contract services through PQQ's Assist with PQQ application to potential clients Arrange and coordinate mandatory and technical training for all employees Ensure contractor safety management arrangements are established and implemented Co-ordinate the Authorisation process in alignment with LRQA expectations Promote environmental awareness to employees, subcontractor and all persons in the site vicinity and stress to all employees and visitors the importance senior management places on safe work practices and environmental protection Monitor and interpret regulatory changes affecting the business Manage responses to regulatory enquiries, including audits and inspections Monitor and verify vehicle licensing status to maintain insurance compliance Collaborate with other teams to ensure the integration of compliance requirement into operational processes.

Experience & Qualities



Essential:



Familiarity with LRQA processes, CDM 2015, ISO 9001/14001/45001 and Health & Safety legislation, or demonstrable skills and experience that could be transferred from a similar process driven, accreditation-based field Excellent analytical skills Excellent communication skills Excellent report writing skills Planning and organisational skills Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and Google applications Experience in utilities and / or construction activities.

Desirable:



IOSH or NEBOSH qualification Environmental and/or Quality qualification Experience of implementing Health and Safety in a highly technical, complex industrial environment Exposure to and understanding of implementation of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 Exposure to and understanding of LRQA requirements across NERS, GIRS & WIRS Knowledge of the implementation Competence Authorisation Processes IOSH Membership

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
