Role: Compliance Officer
Location: London - Hybrid
Position type: Full time, permanent
We're looking for someone to join our Compliance function to help deliver our annual compliance plan and support MS Amlin in meeting its regulatory obligations. Amongst other things, you will be helping with horizon scanning, completion of regulatory returns, licencing queries, draft and maintain policies and standards and helping provide training to the business.

About The Job
While there is rarely a typical day, here's a snapshot of some of the key parts of the job:Working with the Senior Manager in delivery of our annual compliance plan.
Help oversee submission of our regulatory returns and maintenance of our regulatory returns calendar.
Provide guidance to underwriters on issues relating to licencing, conduct risk, conflicts of interest, and any other regulatory issues.
Keep up to date with changing regulation by conducting horizon scanning on regulatory change that may impact our business.
Work with functions across the business on any regulatory queries or advice that is needed.
Contribute towards the Risk & Compliance knowledge management pillar - helping to raise awareness of regulatory issues impacting MS Amlin.
Help manage MS Amlin's SMCR framework, including completing applications and updating our governance maps.
Assist in the completion of monitoring reviews and following up on any assurance actions.
Contribute towards the Compliance functions reporting to boards and committees.

What you'll need:
For this particular role there are some important qualifications and skills we need you to have. These include:Experience of working within the Lloyd's market within a second line team.
Strong organisational and analytical skills
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate to senior stakeholders in writing and verbally.
Proactive work ethic and a self-starter in delivery of workload.
Ability to shape MI, providing insight in executive and board committee quarterly reporting
