Pay Rate: 28,700

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday

Location: Gatwick Airport, RH1

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check ) if you are to be successful for this position.

No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the ground handling operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

Conducting enhanced background checks for new employees (criminal record checks) Requesting and vetting of all references for new employees Responsible for ensuring the security pass process is completed Ensuring timely delivery to support the need of fully vetted colleagues Ensure a high level of effective communication is maintained with colleagues, management, strategic partners and other DHL stakeholders Accountability for all compliance regarding Civil Aviation Authority and DfT

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Previous referencing and aviation experience would be advantageous Excellent communication skills at all levels Be calm, friendly and professional Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation Work well within a team Ability to hold and manage sensitive information respecting confidentiality and data protection at all times IT Literate and familiarity with Excel Exposure to Aviation

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

Be able to provide 5 years address history Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character) To obtain a full airside ID
