COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Chapeltown, Sheffield

Job Purpose:



As a Compliance Officer at Supply Desk, you will be at the forefront of supporting our branch network, managing candidates through the compliance process. From their initial engagement to being cleared for work and beyond, you will ensure they meet all necessary criteria efficiently and in line with company policies.

As part of a central shared service function, your role is vital in maintaining our high standards and achieving company targets. You will need resilience and exceptional communication skills to liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including candidates, consultants, referees, and schools.

Role Overview:



Compliance Mastery:?Adhere to our compliance rules, including DfE/KCSIE, REC, DBS, and eligibility to work in the UK. Safeguarding First: Prioritise the safeguarding of children in all decisions. Data Protection:?Ensure all candidate data is protected in accordance with GDPR policies. Efficient Processes: Follow procedures to ensure candidates meet compliance criteria within set timeframes. Database Management:?Keep systems and databases updated with all documentation and detailed communication notes. Ongoing Monitoring:?Process and monitor the compliance status of candidates, particularly their DBS status. Caseload Prioritisation: Manage and prioritise your caseload to meet business needs. Proactive Documentation Collection: Be relentless in obtaining necessary documentation for candidates to ensure they are able to work as soon as possible Customer Service Excellence: Provide best-in-class customer service for incoming candidate queries. Progress Tracking:?Maintain clear records to track progress for each candidate. Achieve KPIs:?Meet company KPIs for accuracy, speed, and conversion rates. Weekly Reporting:?Run and action weekly reports on your caseload's compliance status. Team Support:?Assist other compliance officers during staff absences and annual leave.

Qualifications and Attributes:

Schedule:



Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts (7am-4pm or 8am-5pm) on a rota, flexible to support the needs of the business.
