HETAS and Woodsure are not-for-profit organisations working together for a cleaner, safer and more sustainable environment. We are authorised by the government to approve biomass and solid fuel heating appliances, fuels and services, with plans to expand and diversify.
We're looking for a Compliance Officer to focus primarily on HETAS inspections. This role suits someone with compliance or administrative experience and strong customer service skills. You will accurately review and process inspection and audit reports, providing effective and professional inspection/assessment service, investigating and risk assessing all cases, assist with the administrative support and liaise effectively with staff members, external inspectors and stakeholders to ensure effective compliance processes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, including email and phone. You will be a team player with strong time management skills, the ability to prioritise tasks, and a proactive, flexible work approach. Good IT skills, including MS Office and experience of an internal database, are essential.
Working in an energetic and cohesive team, your working day will involve inspection, risk assessments, processing and reviewing of inspection/audit reports, and administrative duties.
