The Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in making sure we compile with all relevant regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements. You'll also take charge of organising various operational tasks like insurance and ensuring our new office ticks all the health and safety boxes.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance

: Keep us compliant with AML, GDPR, KYC, and other relevant regulations. Stay updated on legislative changes and tweak our company policies as needed*.

Policy Implementation

: Develop, implement, and maintain our compliance policies and procedures. Train the team on these policies to keep everyone in the loop.*

Risk Management

: Identify and assess compliance risks and implement measures to mitigate these risks.*

Insurance Management

: Organise and manage the firm's insurance policies, ensuring we're covered on all fronts.*

Office Compliance

: Make sure our new office complies with all health and safety regulations, including electricity and gas testing, and obtaining any required licences (e.g., for serving food).*

Documentation and Reporting

: Keep detailed records of compliance activities and prepare regular reports for senior management*.

Research

: Conduct thorough research on compliance matters and provide guidance based on your findings.*

Independent Work

: Manage tasks independently, showing initiative and responsibility.*

The Candidate:



The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

Experience in a compliance role. Strong knowledge of AML, GDPR, KYC, and other relevant regulations. (preferred) Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong analytical and research skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and juggle multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: 24,797.00-33,287.00 per year
