Job Description

We operate a high-volume Amazon DSP logistics contract. This is a zero-tolerance, audit-heavy, contractually unforgiving environment. This role exists for one reason: to ensure the business never loses its Amazon contract, insurance cover or legal standing due to preventable failure. This is a hands-on enforcement, investigations and exposure-control position with real authority.

Role Purpose

Amazon DSP contractual compliance Insurance, claims and liability protection Driver legal eligibility Van compliance and daily gatekeeping controls Incident response and investigations Police, insurer and legal interfaces Operational risk governance
You will operate as the

final control gate

between the operation and:

Contract termination Insurance repudiation Criminal exposure Civil litigation Regulatory enforcement

Core Operational Duties

1. Amazon DSP Compliance & Escalation Control

Own TRC, DCR, POD, NFDP and Behaviour Defects at root-cause level.
Draft, submit and defend:

Appeals Breach responses Reinstatement packs Maintain real-time audit readiness for unannounced DSP inspections. Track repeat offenders and systemic failure patterns.

2. Insurance, Theft & Accident Command

You are the

single point of control

for:

Road traffic accidents Vehicle theft Property damage Public and third-party liability
You will:

Control all insurer notifications Produce forensic-standard evidence packs Manage repudiation risk Liaise with police Protect indemnity positions at all times

3. Driver Legal & Eligibility Control

You will enforce:

Right to Work ID verification Driving licence validity Eligibility to operate Maintain

defence-ready driver audit files

suitable for criminal, employment and insurance scrutiny.

4. Investigations, Misconduct & Fraud

Lead all formal investigations into:

Theft Serious customer complaints Fraud Gross negligence Conduct recorded interviews. Produce formal outcome and disciplinary recommendations. Escalate to police and legal advisers where required.

5. Risk Governance & Pattern Suppression

Own and maintain:

Business risk register Compliance breach logs Driver risk profiling Design

preventative controls

to eliminate repeat failures. Convert incident data into enforceable controls.

6. Executive Reporting & Legal Exposure Visibility

Produce:

Weekly compliance dashboards Driver scorecards Monthly risk heatmaps Exposure forecasts

7. Van & First-Mile Compliance Enforcement (Daily Gatekeeping)

You will have

direct ownership and enforcement authority

over:

Daily DVIC Compliance

Mandatory DVIC completion across the entire fleet Defect escalation and vehicle lock-out where safety or insurance risk exists Full DVIC audit trails fit for Amazon, insurers and police

eMentor & Safety Compliance

Mandatory daily eMentor usage Monitoring of: Seatbelt compliance Driver distraction Harsh driving Immediate remedial action, suspension or removal from rota for breaches

Daily Driver & Vehicle Sign-Off Sheets

Enforce mandatory sign-in and sign-off each morning Verify: Driver fitness to operate Vehicle roadworthiness

No sign-off = no route deployment. No exceptions.

Essential Background

Compliance, investigations, insurance, enforcement or regulated operations experience

Highly Desirable

Amazon DSP compliance experience Insurance claims or fraud investigation background GDPR and evidential data handling knowledge
