As the
Compliance Senior Director, Europe & International
, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Vice President Europe & International, a key member of the ViiV Leadership Team, and area leaders to drive commercial success in a sustainable and compliant way. You will play a critical role in shaping behaviours, fostering accountability, and cultivating leadership that embeds a strong compliance culture, safeguarding ViiV's reputation and mitigating risk.
Leading a team of 7 compliance professionals across 12 LOCs, you will provide expert guidance on compliance and risk management, ensuring the business operates effectively within the framework of GSK/ViiV's three compliance pillars: Predict, Protect, and Enable.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a key member of both the ViiV Compliance Leadership Team and the Europe & International Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision-making.
Drive competitive performance by leveraging strategic thinking and deep knowledge of the GSK/ViiV business, industry trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements to deliver impactful results efficiently.
Champion leadership accountability and integrity, empowering leaders to manage risks effectively and take decisive action when challenges arise.
Provide expert advice to senior leaders on risks associated with emerging business strategies, offering pragmatic solutions for risk mitigation and ensuring alignment with GSK/ViiV's internal control framework.
Encourage a proactive approach to risk evaluation, solution generation, and escalation of issues, including through the GSK SpeakUp program.
Simplify and deploy corporate policies and standards in a clear, consistent, and timely manner, enabling business leaders to achieve competitive performance.
Lead the ViiV Europe & International Risk Management and Compliance Board (RMCB), integrating insights from monitoring, audits, and investigations to oversee the execution of mitigation plans.
Ensure robust internal controls, including management monitoring, Key Risk Indicators, and Risk Insights, are in place and effectively utilized.
Oversee compliance with Privacy (GDPR) regulations by applying the GSK Privacy Framework and addressing any identified gaps.
Collaborate with the Corporate Investigations Team, HR, and Legal to ensure reported concerns are thoroughly investigated and resolved with appropriate corrective actions and disciplinary measures.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Sciences, or equivalent professional experience.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and sound business judgment, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization to align with compliance expectations.
Proven knowledge and management experience in designing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs, processes, and outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of self-reliance, providing strategic consultation and support to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Strong credibility, independence, and trustworthiness, with the ability to handle sensitive compliance matters with discretion and integrity.
Superior listening and analytical skills to diagnose issues, resolve conflicts, and develop practical, actionable solutions.
Deep understanding of organizational structures and processes to identify compliance vulnerabilities and align compliance functions with business objectives.
Experience in leading and managing diverse teams across multiple geographies and cultures, fostering collaboration and delivering results.
