We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Head Office team. We are currently seeking to recruit a care home Compliance Support officers to cover 4 care homes each in the Northwest. We are looking to recruit an exceptional candidate experienced in Residential care home & health and social care services.

You'll assess quality standards in our care home and work with the manager and team to ensure standards are maintained as they work towards achieving and maintaining compliance with the CQC.

The Compliance Support Officer will champion compliance with a hands-on approach to achieve our promise to exceed professional standards and provide high quality standards of care.

Annual Salary 30,000.00

Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Support Officer



Use audit tools aligned with CQC Regulatory Requirements, conduct internal compliance audits at all care homes, providing home managers promptly with findings and recommendations for improvements.

Utilise an audit tool aligned with legislation and best practice, undertake a programme of H&S audits across the home.

Conduct other quality assurance audits, as required which may include Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) subject to appropriate training and accreditation.

Provide high quality, timely audit outcomes and feedback to Head of Compliance and support the development of action plans to address areas for improvement.

Deliver mandatory training direct to the care home, supporting the manager and staff to maintain compliance.

Support Care home managers with the creation and development of their action plans.

Work and liaise closely with the Head of Compliance, identify and record and report non-compliance trends within the business.

Compliance Support Officer | The ideal candidate:



The ideal candidate will have experience working in Adult Social care.

Understanding of the Health & Social Care Act and Health & Safety Legislation

Have experience of auditing/assessing quality in the adult social care sector.

Have experience of reviewing regulations and legislation.

Good communication skills

Able to provide cover support for any DCHG care home.

Have experience working to CQC guidelines and regulations.

Be ambitious and self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

An ambitious deputy who wishes to step up might also be considered for this position as might be an experienced manager needing to work without the day to day management activity.

Understanding of electronic care planning is preferred.

A full driver's licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
