As a new role the Compliance Technician supports the Compliance and the leadership team to develop the way that the business continues to maintain and develop its Health & Safety, Quality Environmental and Information Management Systems.
General Duties
Key Focus on H & S Equipment Maintenance, Risk Assessments, Auditing and Promotion of H & S
Maintaining company certification and client portals including ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001 ISO27001 NSI NACOSS, Safe Contractor, Constructionline etc
Contribute positively to our culture of continuous improvement
Responsibility for a wide range of Compliance areas for Quality & Environmental management systems, Health & Safety systems & Information Security
Specific Duties
Inspection and records maintenance of all H & S Equipment
Assistance and creation of method statements and risk assessments
Support TM Plan process and associated documentation
Promotion and Implementation of the Compliance legal and Systemic requirements within the business
Implementation of improved data collection & analysis systems for compliance data
Conduct Site Audits as required to maintain and develop H & S and Compliance and awareness
Maintenance of Client compliance portals
Support in the development and implementation of compliance improvements to the business.
Assist design and bid consultants in putting together standard company information for pre-qualification and tenders
Personal Profile (Beneficial Attributes)
High working level knowledge of Microsoft IT packages
Recognised Health and Safety Qualification
Knowledge of Compliance Certifications ISO9001/14001/45001/27001
Ability & desire to drive through compliance improvements
Excellent communication & administrative skills
Able to manage own workload and support others where appropriate
Able to work as an individual & as part of a team
