We are a family-owned warehousing and distribution business with a 30-year track-record of providing secure and stable employment. With a growing list of customers and ambitious expansion plans, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Compliance & Training Manager to work in a key role within our transport team at our campus located just off Junction 23 of the M6.

This is a newly-created position to provide support to and management of our team of 46 drivers, while ensuring high levels of health and safety across our fleet.

Reporting to the Head of Transport, you will manage two Fleet Compliance Supervisors and work alongside the General Transport Manager & Network Manager

Monday to Friday 9-hour shifts (0900 - 1800)

What does the role involve?

Monitor and report on the fleet's MPG, initiate ways to improve MPG

Develop training needs within the transport division

Design and deliver CPC courses to driving staff

Foster a positive ethical culture

Promote standards to all transport staff

Access and improve driver performance using telematics

Undertake post-collision reviews

Manage driver training and retraining

Manage random Drug & Alcohol testing for drivers

Prepare Warehouse to Wheels colleagues for test

Oversee the management of fleet defects

Oversee the management of licence checks on drivers, both full-time & agency
