Part-Time Complementary Therapist - Castlebrae

Location: The Police Treatment Centres, Auchterarder

Department: Nursing

Hours: 12 hrs, (2 days over 5 days)

At The Police Treatment Centres (PTC) we provide high-quality, patient-focused care and rehabilitation to support the health and wellbeing of the policing profession.

We are currently looking for a committed, compassionate Complementary Therapist to join our friendly and collaborative Nursing Department. If you are an experienced and confident Complementary Therapist with excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, person-centred holistic treatments to support patients emotional and psychological wellbeing Conduct initial assessment to understand individual need and wellbeing goals Observe highest degree of integrity and responsibility in regard to the practice of complementary therapy Recognise that the interest and welfare of the patient are paramount Provide complementary therapies such as massage, aromatherapy, reflexology in a safe, effective and professional manner Work in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team Maintain accurate and legible written and electronic records of all patient interactions, including treatments and outcomes Escalate concerns relating to patients or centre operations appropriately

Who We're Looking For

Qualified Complementary Therapist - HND in Complementary Therapies with at least 5yrs experience Qualified in delivering treatments such as Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Hot stones massage Confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Can demonstrate excellent listening skills with a warm and empathetic manner A flexible and proactive approach to patient care Passionate about supporting the wellbeing of the policing profession
