The Company
EB Equipment is a family run business, specialising in the manufacture of silos, tanks and conveying systems. We supply products to the agricultural, industrial and renewable energy industries. Our advanced manufacturing facility gives us the ability to produce the majority of our products on-site. We have over 60 years' manufacturing experience and pride ourselves on the quality of our work.
A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an experienced fibreglass laminator to join our team.

The Role
Working within a small team, you will be responsible for the production of silos and tanks ranging from 6 cubic metres to 100+ cubic metres.

Duties & Responsibilities
General Labouring including trimming/lifting/splicing
Mould preparation
Release of simple moulds
Use of hand tools
Use of handheld power tools such as grinders and sanders
Bond preparation
Basic housekeeping duties
Correct use of PPE
Accountability for your own work

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years experience working with resins and fibreglass ( preferable but not essential ), be technically minded and have the ability to learn new tasks and adapt to the role. However, consideration will be made for candidates willing to learn/train these skill sets.

Key skills
A thorough understanding of GRP/Fibreglass laminating and associated processes ( preferred but not essential )

Experience with wet lay lamination techniques ( preferred but not essential )

Experience with chop spray application techniques (preferred but not essential)

Experience with filament winding (preferred but not essential)

Attention to detail

An understanding of the quality process

Methodical approach

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
