Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Compound & Logistics Manager to oversee the daily operations of our company's compound and logistics activities. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the overall functioning and security of the compound, ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel, assets, and visitors. You will coordinate with security teams, supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff, and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards. Efficient management of accommodation, utilities, and facility services will also fall under your purview.
Your expertise in logistics will be essential as you plan and monitor the movement of goods, materials, and personnel to and from the compound. You will oversee inventory management, ensure accurate record-keeping, and coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to guarantee timely delivery of supplies. The role requires you to prepare regular reports on compound activities, logistics performance, and asset utilization. You will be expected to develop and implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness, as well as respond swiftly to any issues or emergencies that arise within the compound or logistics operations.
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in logistics, supply chain management, facility management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in compound or logistics management, preferably in a similar industry. Proven leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and a track record of managing cross-functional teams are essential. Familiarity with health and safety regulations, inventory management systems, and logistics software is required.
