We are currently keen to recruit a Compressed Air Engineer based in Carrickfergus to deliver a first-rate service to our customers, providing advice, diagnostics, routine maintenance, and emergency help whenever/wherever needed. Candidate will have experience of engineering in a compressed air environment and have excellent problem solving and communications skills, be able to work alone as well as in a team, be able to take the initiative and have a pro-active responsible and efficient approach to all that you do.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Undertake planned and preventative maintenance of Compressed Air Systems. Perform emergency breakdown fault finding & repair. Install, commission and maintain equipment at client sites in accordance with company standards and safety protocols. Participate in the Call Out Rota. IPL operate a 24/7/365 breakdown service. This role requires the engineer to be available for emergency breakdowns outside of the normal working hours. Prepare detailed service reports and documentation following each site visit, fill out Time Sheets for your working hours. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's reputation during all client interactions, build working relationships with all existing and new customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience carrying out maintenance / service on air compressors. Good working knowledge of compressed air equipment Full UK Driving License, willingness to travel extensively between jobs as required. Able to work unsupervised using own initiative as well as working as part of a team. Good communication skills. Attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
