About the Role:
As a technician at iHandi, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of
hardware and software issues
on desktops, laptops, and other consumer electronics. From SSD upgrades and motherboard replacements to virus removals and system optimisations - no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair computer hardware and software faults
Perform installations, upgrades, and custom builds
Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used
Offer excellent customer service and explain technical issues clearly
Work with a team to meet deadlines and maintain iHandi's quality standards
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in computer repair (hardware & software)
Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and basic networking
Skilled in diagnostics and using repair tools
Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and motivated
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Role Overview:
As a
Level 3 Technician
, you'll take on advanced diagnostic and repair tasks for both hardware and software systems. You'll be expected to work on everything from
motherboard-level repairs
and
data recovery
to
malware removals
and
custom PC builds
, maintaining our high standards of quality and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose & repair advanced hardware faults (motherboards, power issues, GPUs, etc.)
Troubleshoot complex software/system issues
Perform installations, upgrades, and system imaging
Build and configure custom PCs & workstations
Maintain accurate repair logs and part inventories
Guide junior techs and ensure workshop organisation
Deliver professional and friendly customer service
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in IT / Computer Systems / Electronics
(or equivalent experience)
Minimum 4 years hands-on experience in a tech repair role
Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, BIOS, networking
Skilled in using diagnostic tools, soldering (a plus), and handling ESD-sensitive components
Honest, reliable, and highly organised
Bonus: Experience in mobile device repairs or Amazon business support
