Computer Science Teacher
to work full-time in a mainstream secondary school in
Lincoln
.
This is a
5-day-per-week role
, teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4, giving you the space to focus on
quality teaching, relationship-building, and long-term progress
rather than constant firefighting.
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
About the Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging, well-structured Computer Science lessons adapted for mixed abilities
Teach key areas such as programming, computational thinking, algorithms, and digital literacy
Use real-world examples to bring technical concepts to life and encourage problem-solving
Maintain a calm, predictable classroom environment with clear routines and expectations
Work closely with pastoral staff, SENCOs, and senior leaders to support pupil engagement
Build positive relationships through consistency, fairness, and clear boundaries
This role is ideal for a teacher who understands that
progress isn't always linear
and values
long-term impact over short-term wins
.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching
Computer Science at KS3 and/or KS4
Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management
Calm, adaptable, and solution-focused approach
A genuine belief in inclusion and supporting pupils to re-engage with learning

QTS recognised by the DfE
