Computer Science Teacher - Lead A-Level success and computational theory - Newham
A large, oversubscribed secondary school in Newham with a thriving academic Sixth Form requires a dedicated Computer Science Teacher with a significant KS5 teaching remit from January 2026.

Computer Science Specialist required from January 2026

Ideal for a teacher passionate about algorithmic thinking and advanced coding (Java/Python)

You will teach Computer Science across KS3-KS5, with the main focus being the delivery of the full A-Level curriculum (theory and practical project component). The role includes running competitive coding clubs and mentoring students through their programming coursework projects.
Experience and Qualifications

QTS and specialism in Computer Science
Proven experience teaching the full A-Level Computer Science specification
Expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and languages
Confidence using and managing network resources and cloud learning platforms
