Responsibilities
Design and deliver computer science lessons tailored to diverse student needs, including those in special education programmes
Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate coding experiences, ensuring practical understanding of theoretical concepts
Manage classroom behaviour effectively through behaviour management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment
Proofread and review educational materials to ensure accuracy and clarity before dissemination
Communicate regularly with colleagues (and variously with parents) regarding student progress and behavioural concerns
Support students' social development by fostering respectful interactions and collaborative learning experiences
Experience
Proven experience in teaching computer science within an educational setting
Demonstrated ability in mentoring students with diverse learning needs, including those in special education programmes
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
Experience in behaviour management and teaching at various educational levels
Familiarity with proofreading educational content to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of materials used for instruction.
