Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and patient

Computer Skills Instructor

to teach learners basic to intermediate computer skills, with opportunities to introduce advanced topics where appropriate. The role focuses on equipping students with practical digital skills that support employability, productivity, and confidence in using modern technology.

The instructor will design

structured session plans

and deliver lessons organized around a

weekly or monthly theme

, such as Microsoft Office, AI tools, digital communication, or job-related applications. Teaching will emphasize real-world use of computers and apps to help learners prepare for current and future workplace demands.

Key Responsibilities

Teach computer skills ranging from

basic to intermediate

(with optional advanced sessions) Develop

lesson plans and session outlines

aligned with weekly or monthly themes Deliver engaging, easy-to-follow instruction for learners with varying skill levels Teach practical use of tools such as

Microsoft Office, email, cloud tools, AI applications, and productivity software

Support learners in using technology for

job searching, workplace tasks, and career development

Assess learner progress and adapt teaching methods as needed Provide guidance, troubleshooting, and encouragement to build digital confidence
Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of computers, operating systems, and common applications Experience with

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

and digital tools Familiarity with

AI tools and emerging technologies

is a plus Teaching, training, or tutoring experience preferred Ability to explain technical concepts in a

simple, clear, and patient manner

Strong communication and organizational skills
