We are looking for a full time, open-ended Computing Officer in the Operations Section of the CMVM's campus IS Team, based at our Easter Bush campus.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. There may be a requirement to start up to 2 days slightly earlier, for preventative maintenance checks.
The salary for this post is
29,588 to 33,951
per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Good IT support skills:
Ability to analyse, diagnose and fix problems with PC software and hardware.
Ability to provide guidance and advice to users on a range of IT services.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and work unsupervised within an agreed programme of work.
Good oral and written communication skills; particularly the ability to translate highly technical information into non-technical, easily understood language.
Excellent customer service skills, resourcefulness and a desire for continuous improvement.
Willing to learn new skills, to develop and improve yourself and to enhance your workplace.
