Job Description

As part of the ongoing development and growth of our Computing provision at our Hereford Campus, we are seeking to appoint a Computing Technician on a fixed term contract until 26th June 2026.



To maintain the Computing department's network, specialist labs and equipment and provide technical support to Computing staff and students when requested. To support and participate fully in the ongoing Faculty and College activities to achieve the College's key mission and objectives.



The key responsibilities of the post include server and virtualisation support, curriculum delivery support, network infrastructure management, staff and student support, security, outreach and masterclasses.



We are looking for an individual who has experience in a Computing/Networking environment and has a real commitment to post 16 education and training. The appointed person will need to be able to work well with young people as well as being able to oversee the logistics of network management and development.
