We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to individuals in need within their homes and care facilities. The role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for clients across a range of care settings. Candidates should be committed to delivering respectful and personalised care, fostering a comfortable environment for those they support. Duties

Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement Administer medication in accordance with prescribed instructions Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements Engage clients in social activities and behavioural management strategies Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Offer companionship and emotional support, particularly for clients with Dementia or Alzheimer's Accompany clients to appointments or social outings as required Monitor health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly

Skills

Experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is desirable Knowledge of patient care, dementia, Alzheimer's Strong caregiving skills with a focus on senior and behavioural care management Ability to administer medication safely and perform basic first aid procedures Excellent communication skills and empathetic nature Competence in meal preparation tailored to individual health requirements Driving licence preferred Childcare experience is advantageous for supporting families or younger clients Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: 12.50-12.60 per hour
