The successful candidate can expect to work 35 hours per week (excluding breaks), five shifts out seven including weekends. Typical shift patterns are 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm.


The salary for this full-time position is 22,568 per annum.

About The Role




To be responsible for providing a professional concierge service for the greatest enjoyment of the guests and the maximum profit contribution to the hotel.


1. To welcome guests to the hotel, directing and assisting them as required.


2. To provide guests with information on facilities, services, events and attractions, tours, travel routes and transport schedules, arranging tickets, bookings, appointments and reservations as required.


3. To provide guests with maps, brochures and other literature, relevant to the area.


4. To be aware of all hotel services and proactive in the sale of these to guests.


5. To ensure you handle, store and deliver guest luggage to the appropriate destination


6. To provide a guest car parking valet service


7. To assist guests with any reasonable request for hotel services.


8. To ensure all equipment and materials are used in correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.


9. To work effectively with colleagues to ensure an harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.


10. To maintain the security of guest property and storage areas at all times, immediately reporting any breaches.


11. To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.


12. To respond to guest complaints and in the first instance find the appropriate solution.


13. To ensure that guest concerns, complaints and difficulties are dealt with courteously and efficiently, reporting them to the Head Concierge/Duty Manager.


14. Any other duties as required by management.

About You




We would love you to have some similar previous experience and a passion for excellent guest service.

Required Criteria



Right to Work in the United Kingdom Must be educated to GCSE standard or the equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths. Full clean driving licence with no penalty points. Good communication and basic numeracy skills Smart well groomed appearance is essential Must have excellent attention to detail Work well under pressure and be a team player

Desired Criteria



Previous experience in a similar role. Previous hospitality experience
