Titan Plant Hire is one of the Gill Group of Companies and supports our civil engineering company who are one of the leading airfield/ports/highway concrete paving companies in the United Kingdom and have been successful in a bid to conduct civil engineering works at Airports, Highways and Docks throughout the country.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and driven Batcher Operative who has the ability to work to their own initiative to ensure the batching of concrete is done to the highest quality and on time.

What the role entails:

Operating the computerised batching system to produce concrete mixes in line with customer specification. To ensure the site, plant, buildings and equipment are kept in a clean and tidy condition and to maintain security at all times. Identifying and reporting defective materials. To Maintain accurate material/stock dates as required. Working collaboratively with colleagues and customers. Understanding of the importance on our sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Management.

Required Skills

Mechanically/electrically minded with an understanding of machinery. A hard-working approach with a can-do attitude. Effective communication & problem-solving skills. Flexibility and versatility. Willingness to work occasional nights & weekends. A valid UK Driving License.

Salary Range:

negotiable dependant on experience

site based but travel across the uk to client site is required
